The beach and the bothy that was home to Monty Hall and his 'Great Escape'.

Is that in your neck of the woods or farther north? Looks stunning either way.
It's here. There's a few nice beaches, but this is the only one you can see from the road (It's between Sheldaig and Applecross). At low tide it's about 3 times the size.

This is one of the ones hardly anyone knows about (I've never seen anyone else on it)

One from the summer in Britanny. Taken using a Mobius camera on a 250 Quad.

Is that by Saint Jacut and les Iles Ebihens?

Still a bit of a noob but here are my efforts so far:

Once I've had a bit more practice piloting I'll move on to cars, motorbikes and mountain biking

My younger brother earlier this year organized the first London Drone Film Festival; some of you may have seen it advertised on TV. Anyway it was very successful.

What was interesting whilst watching the finalist was that although these wonderful vista shots are great after you have seen a dozen they all kind of look the same.

The people that won the various categories (A nice DJI drone to each) managed to find unique ways of using the drones and the results were spectacular.

The point I am trying to make is, "Dare to be different" You will be amazed at what these things can do with a little imagination

I actually agree. It's like photography with a normal camera though. Everyone has seen pictures of Central Park, Grand Canyon etc. You need some imagination to make a picture stand out.

I was thinking the exact same thing today though, watching quite a few drone videos. And they were just all very samey. Maybe we're just spoiled by the amount of footage so easily available now.

These drones make it easy to capture great landscape shots, and the wide angle lens doesn't suit close-ups. But I agree, there's so much more that can be done with a little imagination.
Here's one of my 'experimental' examples involving a quarry, a DJI phantom and the right music.
