Is that in your neck of the woods or farther north? Looks stunning either way. This is one of the ones hardly anyone knows about (I've never seen anyone else on it)
My younger brother earlier this year organized the first London Drone Film Festival; some of you may have seen it advertised on TV. Anyway it was very successful.
What was interesting whilst watching the finalist was that although these wonderful vista shots are great after you have seen a dozen they all kind of look the same.
The people that won the various categories (A nice DJI drone to each) managed to find unique ways of using the drones and the results were spectacular.
The point I am trying to make is, "Dare to be different" You will be amazed at what these things can do with a little imagination

I actually agree. It's like photography with a normal camera though. Everyone has seen pictures of Central Park, Grand Canyon etc. You need some imagination to make a picture stand out. I was thinking the exact same thing today though, watching quite a few drone videos. And they were just all very samey. Maybe we're just spoiled by the amount of footage so easily available now.

These drones make it easy to capture great landscape shots, and the wide angle lens doesn't suit close-ups. But I agree, there's so much more that can be done with a little imagination. The people that won the various categories (A nice DJI drone to each) managed to find unique ways of using the drones and the results were spectacular.

Here's one of my 'experimental' examples involving a quarry, a DJI phantom and the right music.
