Great pic.....
Really itching to upgrade the Phantom 2 now.
I think this is the best I'm going to get out of the gopro as I can't change things once it's up there and I can't use 4k as the legs get in the way . looks like my props need balanced to.

Great pic chrismarr too.
But that's free internet music for you.
Great stuff chaps! Love the sunset one!
Had another couple of flights over the weekend and it's amazing how many people are interested in the drone when it's out. It's distracting! :Hehe:
I am finding the video side of it really tricky to get smooth panning shots. Plenty more practice required!

I find the trick is to generally try and fly smooth shots and maneuver in between. Shoot plenty of footage and edit out the jerky bits. Also, out of the box the up/down speed of the camera controller wheel is quite fast and can be set slower in the settings to help smoothness.NJK44 said:
I just purchased a phantom 4 for delivery tomorrow. I'm a tad scared to fly it!
How easy is it to fly and any advice or tips on things to be wary of would be great!
Congratulations. They're very easy to fly, but if you've not flown a quadcopter before I'd recommend finding a nice open area with no obstructions to get a hang of how to control it. Also do your research on the functions that make it easier to film stuff. Do a practise auto return to home too so you know what to expect when you need to do it for real. How easy is it to fly and any advice or tips on things to be wary of would be great!

Thanks for that Caruso. I've read it can be quite easy and good for beginners, but as you can imagine, it's quite daunting flying something of that price! Excited, but nervous is probably the best way to describe how I feel! Haha. I feel like trees are going to be my greatest enemy! Check out all the tutorial videos on the DJI website.
...and some on Youtube.
It's easier than you think.
ETA... only tip: NEVER take both sticks 'down and in' simultaneously whilst flying. You probably never will as there is no real reason to do so, but if you do, you'll turn the motors off. Some have done this and warranty is void (it'll show up on your flight log that you did it).

That would be a disaster! Will bear that in mind, cheers! ...and some on Youtube.

Do they still shut down if you're under 10% throttle for 5 seconds?...and some on Youtube.
