Yeah I will, was just a play about haha.

Can anyone recommend free video editing software?
I use the GoPro Studio free software. (doesn't need a goPro). It's actually really good.

I just tried using it and it said I couldn't trim video because it wasn't 'GoPro footage'?

Any ideas?

Okay. The one thing you need to do first is CONVERT.

So open Gopro software, IMPORT footage, then click on CONVERT, then when converted, drag onto the timeline.

Hm, I was hoping I could cut before I convert, because otherwise I'll have to load a massive video in.

It'll be a learning curve though. I'm sure I'll learn to record in segments instead of entire flight lol

Here's my first ever video, nothing special, but just having a play! - https://youtu.be/k2G9DVUz130

What is the secret to steady flight?

I've been recording and it's good but I've seen some videos where people can expertly move the drone and Camera in smooth motion.

Is this something that'll come naturally or do I need to do something different?

Cheers.

You can adjust how fast the gimble moves, and the craft, and change the frame rate, and all sorts of automated stuff which lets the craft fly itself...

..but actually it's just a lot of practice. I'm no hero in this department, but I'm much better than I was when I started. (200+ flights ago)

One thing I would suggest to look at is how you hold the sticks. I'm guessing like most people you use thumbs because you're used to console controllers. But there's an alternative which gives a finer level of control which is pinching the sticks between thumb and forefinger. It takes only a small amount of getting used to, especially if you're just starting.

I'll give that a go, thanks very much!

Good choice of music to accompany the visuals - that's half the trick to creating engaging videos.

Thanks for posting that video.

That Ph4 certainly has a steady gimbal.

One of my favourite artists, Adam Young, made a couple albums of 'elevator music', so they're very handy biggrin

What the f**k do I do about seagulls? Just had one chasing me around the harbour which I traveled 30 mins to and now going home cos it's not worth the risk..

Nothing you can do I guess. F**k sake.

Might work in future.. But as soon as I set off, they followed me! Wouldn't leave it alone. Get trying to attack it. Good job this thing is easy to fly; I wasn't expecting to outrun seagulls on my second day!!

Went somewhere else, got some FANTASTIC shots, can't wait to share them!

Awesome birds shots too!
