I like that, did you have to ask for permission to fly round the lighthouse or was it outside the 50m limit?chrismarr said:

Some amazing photos on here.
Just a quick one for the DJI owners - is the Phantom 3 advance worth the extra cash over the standard?

I'd say the question should be "is there anything worth getting other than the Mavic Pro?" after the reviews I have seen of it.
Depends what you're doing with it. The Mavic seems to have essentially the same camera as the PH4 so unless you need the portability, the PH4 is probably going to be dropping in price shortly. If you're buying the Mavic for the tricks (reviewers love them), like follow modes, there are smarter drones out there.
If you want a camera for action/adventure sports, then the Karma is a more complete system.
If you want speed, there are FPV drones that blow the Mavic out of the water.
I'd wait until a few more real users have got their hands on production units to see how good they are. Drones are tricky things and the sort of testing you get in a quick YouTube review is not the same as using one for a trip or project.

P5 is said to be due April 17. I'll probably wait for that to upgrade (from 3 pro), talk on the net sounds good.
I'm waiting for the Phantom R!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uWlg5-6gWQ
