I can see several old houses, and my parents house from that spot. Have seldom seen the view captured so nicely - its a bugger because its usually hazy.

Thanks - the Hills are a beautiful area but I do find it hard to properly capture the feeling of them. Really dependent on having the right light but I guess that's all landscape photography...

Strange year for me, I earnt more from my photography than in any other year and yet I seem to have taken less photos - certainly I've uploaded far fewer this year than in another other recently.

Haven't done anywhere near enough this last year, so just a few cats from a visit to the Wildlife Heritage Centre - seems I went a couple of months after Chris Harrison (above - nice shots by the way).
Only other is a random shot of the beach at Hastings (cropped using an EOS-M) taken from a hotel window - looks ok on a wide canvas).
