What's the best way to prevent mould growth in camera lenses? Should I regularly buy some bags of silica jel crystals and leave them in my camera bag or should I get one of those things that you stick on the back of the lense that's meant to remove moisture? What product does anyone recommend?

Thanks

Don't keep lenses in the loft. Or anywhere else stupid. Keep an eye on the ambient humidity levels.

And make sure that you don't move them from the cold into a warm damp atmosphere, and especially zoom the lens out to draw that damp air into the lens internals. This will cause condensation inside the lens, which will cause the mould to grow.

If you want t kill any spores, then a UV light will do the trick.

Zoom lenses are much, much more prone to it than anything else.

I guess a bag of silica gel will do the trick. You just need to make sure it is dried, perhaps in an oven, to make sure it will actually dry the air.
