Had a short break in this amazing city last weekend. Fell in love with the place, completely.

I've been twice - honeymoon + 10th anniversary - need to wait 9 years until I get to go back (unless Mrs DD kicks me out beforehand )

Im secretly very pleased with them, I count them as some of my best yet.

All taken with the Nikon 16/85, my new favourite walkabout lens.

Loved venice, you even get used to the smell after a while. The colours (buildings etc) in particular are hard to explain, the way you can walk around a corner and see the most incredible views, great place frozen in time.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing, makes a change from the what lens/what camera threads
