You do realise Zeiss is just a figment of someone's imagination don't you? It's not real....

To update.. had a slightly shaky start with the Alpha, but mostly down to me not putting the time in. Quite like it now
I've just bought myself a Zeiss 24-70mm FE lens & will stick the kit lens away. Should up the photo quality further.

I have that lens as a walkabout on the A7R mk2 - it's a cracker.

You see the trouble is, now I'm mulling over a newer & better A7 body. Oh dear...

The A9 seems good so far, still working my way through the manual. It certainly isn't the most ergonomic of cameras as many commentators have said.

I do like being able to review pictures in the viewfinder, just the thing for sunny days.

Not so far smile

Had it less than 24 hours and only shot a handful of images. From what I gather the overheating might be mostly to do with video shooting, and will in any case be greatly ameliorated by using the battery grip (not yet available).

Will give it a good workout at an event over the weekend, so will be on the lookout for temperature issues.

I've been doing this for years with my A77 and A7, yes its useful, but always think people will think I'm a bit weird just staring at the ground through the camera at nothingness...
