Best bridge camera ?

I was talking to a "professional" photographer who sells his photographs from his shop.
(I guess GetCarter will know George). His photos are all scenery shots which he manipulates to great effect.
I have 2 Fuji S5600 cameras, his words were "get a decent bridge camera that shoots RAW, most phones have a better spec than a 10 year old DSLR"

I haven't yet but might one day.
