Just had an email saying price is increasing to £10.10pm from renewal (I currently pay £6 something).
As I only use Lightroom and can get 6 for £89 is it easy enough to cancel CC, instal the standalone version and migrate everything to it?

Should be but....

The increase doesn't start until your renewal date
It's only an additional cost of a Cup of Coffee a month
You won't get the latest release(s), and if you upgrade your camera you may not get RAW support without going through a conversion to DNG process

I have heard unconfirmed talk that the standalone is missing a few features, ie dehaze for one.

It's true, I've got lightroom 6 standalone and although it's been upgraded for somethings dehaze isn't there

I'm on the Photography Plan and mine is going up to £8.42 inc VAT which isn't too bad. Not even £1 increase.

Does anyone know how to get Acrobat without going the whole hog?

So we were being charged different amount for the same thing? That explains why your raise is different to mine but doesn't explain the inconsistent pricing.

£8.57 is the standard price. I was paying £6ish until August last year as I had a discounted offer

Right. I've checked my invoices and I'm confused. Totally confused.

I'm paying £7.14 for The Photography Plan. It says on their that it's a 1YR subscription and I'm 5 months in. So can they really up the cost? Or is it how the guy above said that it's when my subscription ended.

My invoice doesn't have any discounts or anything so I'm confused why we're paying 2 different amounts for the same thing.

I had the same email, but will continue with it. As explained in the email it is due to the exchange rate, things priced in $ are 20% more expensive now than they were pre-brexit vote.

The difference in prices is because there were lots of offers available when the Photography Plan was first launched.

However you can get presets that do exactly the same thing (not on sliders though).

I have gradient, radial gradient and normal dehaze presets, they work a treat, and were a free download.

Basically there are a number of preset strengths of each type, expressed as a percentage. Simply click on the strength you want and bobs your uncle.
