March 2017 photo competition - 'unusual shapes'
Discussion
Big thanks to DavidY for picking my photo as the winner in Feb, so off we go again...
The subject for March is "Interesting shapes'
These could be either natural or man-made, macro or normal - basically any subject that allows
you to bring out some unusual shape, or shapes with your photography..
Good luck everyone.
Rules
The photos taken must be your own work
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
Entries and discussion on this single thread please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered should be no bigger than 750 pixels wide for a landscape photo and 600 pixels high for a portrait photo due to the PH squash factor. Links to larger versions are permissible.
Can the mods please make this a sticky? - many thanks

Hi All - sorry for delay in deciding winner for the March competition...
Anyway, my favourite out of all the entries was DavidY with his shot at Liverpool Catholic Cathedral - some really strong photogenic shapes and also it works great in B&W.
