Following on from March's theme thread...

So I'd invite Podie to choose a theme for next month and we can all get started on that....

Been thinking about options that could give some interesting pictures... and ended up turning to one of Pink Floyd's finest for inspiration. So this month, I'd like to see your interpretation of "Shine on you Crazy Diamond"

Make of it what you will... post whatever you think explains that in your mind...

As a reminder...

HankScorpio said:

So the idea is that people go off, produce a photograph relating to the subject, post up the shot they're most pleased with and everybody admires it.
As for "rules", I don't think there should be many other than within the rules of the forum, nothing offensive, nothing illegal, one pic per member, keep it friendly and the criticism constructive. A good image is a good image whether it's taken this week or 50 years ago, straight off the camera or pleasingly manipulated. I'm just interested in seeing the results and maybe picking up some tips.

Get snapping.

Any pix of TVRs glinting in the sun will be disqualified I hope, for being too boring.

Hi All,

I know the rules said one photo per member, but I just can't decide between these...

Sorry off subject:
The Canon 350D is putting in a serious fight though.

fazz - I'm now getting an error with your pics.. apparently you've exceeded your disk quota. My Bank Manager says something like that to me quite a lot. I usually ignore him and go out and buy another car or camera. Usually shuts him up.

Welcome by the way.

Pix are fine but you need to practice compression: 300Mb and 800Mb - way too big for web and frankly not needed. Aim for <100Kb

..And while we're being piccy, Simpo needs to check his grammar...

But, more importantly: that number three....

....got something good starting to happen there. Not sure what about it, but I really like that idea.....

GetCarter: been ignoring mine for years!

simpo two: yeah wasn't sure what was best, i just reduced the size of the images to 1024 by 768 and left compression at lowest, will try some other settings, cheers.

Nah… as long as you've taken them I don't think it matters really… and IMHO the "one photo" rule isn't that important either.

Nice to see some other newbie's too…
