Thankyou - I didn't even need the menu, it was really just a point and shoot job

Beautiful photo, John. The butterflys over here are like greased lightning with bad nerves! I can't get near them.

Martin.

It actually took off about half a second later. With a 60mm macro lens I had to get pretty close; it was probably only its proboscis being stuck in the flower that delayed its escape!

When I pressed the button on this one the hoverfly was on the flower; I inadvertently caught the bugger taking off backwards! (Actually taken with a 10D and Tamron 28-200)
