Lovely image. Would have been a belter if you could have got a little lower and so be looking right into his eyes as he's running towards you. Mind you that does mean getting very low down.

I had it slightly easier with our old dog, didn't have to get quite so low but did have to turn away from the slobbering beast quite fast

That's a grand shot too, Chris!

She was hurtling towrds me at a rate of knots and I only had time to whip the camera up, focus and take the shot. Amazed it came out at all! Went out again this arvo to try the same again, but then the battery ran out on me!

Hey Diddyman, the pup looks great! have to assume that things settled down fairly quickly after you got the doggy?

Thanks for posting a pic, I've been thinking about starting a thread to see how the little guy was doing.

Modern technology! When she's being a pain, we just take it out!

Hi Derric

Yup, she's doing fine now, and settled in. No more poops and howling! Only times she is naughty is when she returns from a walk and wants to stay outside and doesn't come back into the house.

And when left to her own devices in the garden.

Her current tally is:
A swathe of tulips (all just burst into flower!)
3 clematis
2 honeysuckle
Parts of 2 curly wurly willows
Parts of 1 magnolia bush
All the flowers within reach on a wisteria
All the soil in any pot without a plant in
and
The rose of a watering can

The little sh1t!!!!

Very well behaved. Noisy and pretty quick. Haven't been able to persuade Chris that she should come into the house at night though

My sister had an American Eskimo, they had just moved into a new house and my sister and I looked out the kitchen window in time to watch it wrestle a squash off the vine and proceed to play catch with the squash.

Dogs are great!

Glad things are going so...... well?

My turn.

Mot my dogs, but ones at a Flyball competition I photographed recently...

The first one helped me win a photographic comp recently. These are NOT processed images...

The expressions are priceless.

Those are brilliant. You can see the enjoyment on the dogs faces.

That first one is great timing. Well done.

I was thinking more along the lines of:

"Ooooooof, don't kick me in the nuts - that hurt!"
or
"Take the cattle prod out of my arse!"
