Yesterday, whist here (shameless insertion of pretty pic):

I saw these Barnacle Geese which are (apparently) extremely rare in Engalnd (I don't do geese BTW):

..and then when I got here (ditto insertion):

I turned round and saw:

...who dozed off in front of me!

Red squirrels are like busses - you don't see one for ages...

Steve, I can report for staff duties interfrastically, am cheap & willing to learn, all in return for 5 minutes daily exposure to that glorious vista of Albion you joyously call home.

The red squirrel, the real deal, no transatlantic, interloping grey vermin...

As ever, pictures of sheer divinity.

Outstanding!

- cracking.

Not jealous, not jealous, not jealous...
(Well, if I keep telling myself, it may be true!)

Some more red squirrels if that's what you're into here:
Clicky for squirrels
The bloke spent 5 years getting some of them.

Is he making a trunk call?

(Looks like the side of his head is pressed up against the tree.)

Sorry, Steve but you're going to have to give us a warning if you intend to post multiple Carter Masterpieces in one thread......

3rd one down is my favourite.

Just goes to show that as david noton says, "the essence of a strong picture doesnt change... controlling composition, content, lighting and mood"

That ones got them all IMO.
