Seeing as we all seem to be listing our kit:

EOS D30
Ixus 3
EOS 1000
Speedlite 200
Sigma 18-55
Canon 35-80
Canon 80-200
Soon to be joined by a Sigma 500

Ah, i seem to have lost this particular pissing contest!

Great lens Rex. I have a 17-40L which I got 2 weeks ago but am going to exchange for the 24-70L and the 10-22.

Expensive hobby. Only got my 20D 2 weeks ago too...just starting to use PS Elements....what a fabtastic piece of software.

Have almost the same kit as Ian (slightly less glass), plus an Ixus 430.

Oh, and an FS4000US scanner currently churning through my old film negs.

Ian,

Out of curiosity. Why are you selling the 75-300? (I have one on order right now. Got it "on sale" for about $460 US)

No, we go for Quality over quantity. Did you not know that was why we went to the light side.

The main reason that I'm selling it is that I never use it now, with the 70-200, 100-400 & 1.4 convertor I've got all the bases covered so to speak. I actually quite like the lens for a general carry around lens as it's quite light and unassuming and the IS comes in handy but I'm trying to raise enough for the 300 f2.8 so something has to go

Thanks, mate.

You are more than welcome - the G3 is a great camera (used to have one), especially with it's capability to shoot RAW. Good to see you have a decent flash for it too, showing some commitment to the dark side of the force.

However I ffel it is time for you to step up to a DSLR in order to compete the next step in your training...
