Sorry i can't stop
I feel the true characters of these beasts are portrayed soo well in this pic. The inquisitiveness of the lioness tells a real story, while the grumpy male lends real humour to the picture.
They are a a real couple.
"look dear over there"
"Oh God, what did you wake me up for?"
"Something moving in the grass"
"where?, i can't see it!"
"No dear not down there, over there"
"Bluddy hell, not more man cubs"
That is a realy good picture.

This picture is amazing!!!!
Such expression, and the colours!. Did you saturate the greens a bit?
Fantastic!
I would imagine it would be awesome in a larger size.
Ian
The pic was saturated at about +2. Other than that, the levels are slightly tweeked. I was lucky, there was a little light through the trees at that point.
The female was originally sat with about 4 others. As the male came over a couple had a little 'argument' then this one wandered off with the male. Quite interesting.
I couldn't get any decent pics of the fight as one had their back to me. The loser followed these two at a distance. Talk about jealousy!

Looks like nice weather. I was there yesterday in the rain taking some photos of the horse trials. No decent light = 1 good photo out of nearly 200.
Yes it was raining. If you look at the two rhinos, the background has like a mist to it. When I got back home and looked at a few of the pics, I thought I'd done something wrong. The background on many of the pics looked really noisy (the rain).
