Got my first media pass

for the British superbikes at knockhill. going to hire a lens but don;t know what to get. was thinking 300f4 and 1.4 converter to go with my 70-200

I'm not sure a 300f4 plus converter is a good idea unless you're sure it's going to be very bright light.

If you are going for a bit of reach and cash is a bit tight how about a 400mm f5.6. Alternatively if you can splurge a bit more, 300mm f2.8 plus converter is a good combo. Only downside is you will need either a monopod or tripod.
