My g/f was given a Canon EOS 1000F by her dad (he's now got the digital version), but he's lost the manual. Seeing as she can't pick his brains very easily (he lives in Zambia) about how it all works, does anyone have a pdf version of the manual they could send to me?

Thanks.

Thanks. I tried the canon site, but should have just googled for it...

There's not really much to an EOS 1000. Usual canon stuff to do with AV being aperture proirity and TV being shutter priority and that's really all there is to everyday shooting.

Why DO they have 'Tv' for shutter priority? Is it to do with selecting 1/25th for photographing televsions?

'T' for Shutter. Nope, don't get it...

Confused me in the beginning as well.

I used to use TV for Televisions and AV for pics of the Home Cinema :-)

I believe ...

TV is for Time Value (in seconds or fractions of )

AV is for Aperture Value
