Excellent news, Mrs Ted has been found. Monkey has been looking to her all over the north, but she never left England. She had been held hostage by Royal Mail allegedly for insufficient postage. Ransom demand has been met and she's now safely arrived down south kicking her heels in my post in tray until I return. Will post onto Gillian as soon as we get back.

Greenland was the south east. Flew in from Reykjavik to Tasiilaq had a couple of days there and transferred to Kulusuk and did more walking there.
I'd say it is barren, wild, remote...and beautiful, silent, awe inspiring. Going out before breakfast and all you can hear is the howling of the huskies. I loved it, definitely lived up to my expectations. Will do a deeper report with more careful images I took as and when I get round to processing them. Everywhere you look is an amazing panorama, an old Fuji G617 would have been an incredible choice.
Returned from Tasiilaq to Iceland and this time went round the south and round to the eastern fjords. I have to say this has been my favourite bit of Iceland I have seen to date. Managed a couple of hours at Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon and it really is simply magical there particularly the beach with icebergs washed up, even if I did get completely soaked twice trying to get iceberg and wave images 😀 For some of the locations I think the drone enthusiasts here would create some amazing films. So much so I splurged all of 25 on a tiny cheap drone to see if I can learn to fly one maybe the something better.
Lots of processing to do and boil it down to some hopefully decent images.

Would you mind as we do Iceland and Canada every year, post somewhere the photo's of Greenland and the cost from Iceland please? and locations.
We came back from Campbell river yesterday and had some great 7 hour hikes, so will post my photo's in the travel section later.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but I an a side note I have been trying to take the current TED for years but my holidays clash with the early takers.
Must try to get mine in quickly.
