Unlike you guys, this last weekend here was absolutely beautiful

Friday afternoon I bunked off work early along with lots of other folk. I decided to venture up into the Bronx. I tell you the authorities don't mess about with policing up there smile

Shame I had the shutter speed a little too high for this one

The latest in US UK communication, getting in touch with London the easy way. No sound though so I think I'll stick with the phone. The Telectroscope. Actually quite fun if you can ignore all the artistic horse st spouted as the "history" behind it and just enjoy it for what it is.

Thanks, that was my favourite of the bunch too. Very pleased with how that turned out smile

The power of the jet exhausts as they flew in just over our heads was amazing. I got blown off the concrete block I was standing on to photograph them.

The Cobra was a very cool piece of kit but those CH46's are great, mini me to the big Chinook. The space inside is really quite small. I'm 5 9 and can only just stand up in there.

John, your photos get better by the day, I think that HDR has been overdone in so many shots recently but these are examples where it really enhances what was already a good photo (the tower)
Your previous comment to Jenx, re better equipment, you don't need it with this as the standard you are currently turning out.
Well done.
