Can't decide which I prefer, so I thought I'd post both...

I prefer the colour overall but her face is a little over exposed, which look better in the B&W

Only a candid shot but was really chuffed our local media used it as their main/cover photo for the snow coverage

Cracking shot.

Have you a plan in place for when you lad, a couple of years down the road, starts to question your use of his image in so much public material and asks where his cut is?

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great, but kids and the modern world and all that ...... wink

Thanks, and oh you must know my son!

He modelled me for me in a studio shoot and was charging me a fiver for the pleasure, his rates then went up half way through the session when he was informed by the studio owner that a fiver wasn't even minimum wage! I text him about making the cover and his reply was "epic" so hopefully I got this shot for free hehe

Took this of mrsthewife a couple of weeks ago and would like to put it onto a canvas for her, advice needed though, is that tree sprout (out of focus) a little off putting in the middle of the shot? I don't think I'd be able to get rid of it (well I only have iPhoto!)

I would get rid of it if I were you - there's plenty on here who would do it for you but you'd need to send a high res file. If nobody better pipes up I'll have a go for you smile

Agreed,

The alternative (turning it into a feature) may not go down well wirh the main subject. Or even the tree.

THere is, however, a danger that in about 20 years from now you may look back on this moment and decide that an enhancement of the fuzzy portion, rather than removal, would have been more appropriate. With hindsight.

I would advise keeping the original just in case .... wink
