Flowers were a couple of mm across, so they count as a macro shot. the gratuitous background however, was pretty big.

Ah yes, they are spiders, was viewing on my phone and hard to see.

I found this sleepy (ill?) bumblebee, appears to have a couple of parasites under the wings, can anyone identify ?

These are mites and are often found on bumblebees; sometimes in very large numbers. Almost invariably, these are not feeding on the bee but just "hitching a lift" to a new location. They don't usually harm the bee unless the numbers are so great that the weight stops the bee flying (and feeding). "Sleepy" bees can often be revived with a drink of sugar-water.

Thanks ED. I moved him to a flower afterwards to let him feed, which seemed to improve his situation. I just felt guilty as I didn't even notice the mites untill after I viewed the pics on my computer screen.

Also found a few sleepy bumble bees yesterday - think they'd been caught out in the strong winds.
