Spa Bridge At Night by mark_mullen, on Flickr

I think this will work better at dusk, might have another go some time.

I love night photos. It's almost making me miss winter as it's a lot easier to take them when it's dark nearly all the time. Particularly for light trails. Anyway, here's a couple that I don't think I've posted before.

First attempt at taking pictures of the moon and would like some C&C on how to improve! Lens used was the 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS and Canon 550d body.

There have been a few threads on moon shots Allan if you have a search. Main thing I would suggest is a much faster shutter, at least 1/100 as the moon is actually moving quite quickly! Probably go with F10 and whack the ISO up a bit if required. (That's roughly what I used for a full moon on a clear night).

First attempt at light trails. This was my favourite shot of the session.

Nice Bing where is that?

And can you get on the roof of that multi legged beastie?

Cheers
Singapore (Marina Bay). There are a few roof top bars - Marina Bay Sands (the three legged beastie has a roof top infinity pool and observation deck, so will be up there taking some more pictures when I get back from my next trip.

FWIW, Singapore has one of the most under-rated skylines, I much prefer it to Hong Kong's these days.
