What method did you use for the HDR ? Never occurred to me to HDR a long exposure scratchchin

Cheers. I just bracketed three shots, I think +1 and -1. I din't particualrly intend to HDR at the time of taking but when I plugged these into photoshop, I preferred the HDR as it brought out a bit of the hidden detail.

Cheers. I just bracketed three shots, I think +1 and -1. I din't particualrly intend to HDR at the time of taking but when I plugged these into photoshop, I preferred the HDR as it brought out a bit of the hidden detail.
Ah right, nice and easy then hehe

I thought you were perhaps doing a 15/20/25 sec exposure then merging them but it was same shutter with bracketted aperture which I guess is the standard approach.

Something else for me to copy draw inspiration from biggrin

I'm pretty sure I was in aperture priority mode so it would have bracketed the shutter speed. I can double check but I'm guessing this was 8s, 15s, and 30s all at f11 iso 200.
