ok nikon d300 with sigma 10-20mm lens
wireless remote shutter.
Aperture f/8.0
Focal Length 10 mm
ISO Speed 200

stacked over an hour with the best sections used e.g. the fireworks and the odd star trails.
i then light painted the car with a mag light torch and flourecent light strip.

hope this helps smile

Traffic Trail Trio from me

First one's a single frame, no tripod so braced against lamppost.

Double exposure, facing the same direction from two sides of the same road.

[Excuses] Having recently moved house I have lost my quick release for my tripod, so I had to rest this on the floor and hope the Auto Focus worked for me, which it didn't seem to do, this is also my first attempt at this kind of shot, so all C&C's are welcome. [/Excuses]

Very nice Mark. A place I fancy photographing myself.

Took this last night. Quite liked the wide crop although flickr seems to have softened it a lot.

I find that Flickr softens almost all my shots, it's quite annoying. I'm using the Flickr app in Lightroom 3, not sure if it's because of this.

I'm doing something similar with aperture. I think I might need to resize first, sharpen then export but that seems like a faff.

Holy Thread Resurrection!

A few from last night:

Went over to Tower Bridge, hoping to take some shots of the bridge with the Olympic Rings that were on it. Turned up to find that the rings were being taken off! Took some shots of the bridge and moved on to St Paul's.

Rings being taken off:
