One of the later images from the day. Name that silhouette:

I've got a similar shot and fancy inverting the blue of messing with it to get the colour red.

Really nice touch rotating the wheel centres. I meant to do that before we shot! Thanks, nice processing.

Glad you like it - that's my favourite TVR, and in the best colour / interior combo.

I'm a bit frustrated by the number of issues that I only picked up in processing. Apart from the wheel centres, the camera position is too far right; the headrests don't line up and the lighting is uneven: spot on the left, flood on the right.

I imagine that with experience it would be easier to catch these things at the time of shooting. Certainly the speed with which Pete lit the Porsche for the first shot shows the benefits of experience.

Alternatively, I could lighten up a bit and just enjoy the car...scratchchin

I've noticed similar issues when looking at my photos, so i'm just trying to figure out how to make the most of them.

I'm also really annoyed that i wasn't paying more attention when the TVR was in becase none of the shots i got of it have worked properly - and that was my aim for the day when i saw it there - get a decent Cerb shot that i can use as my desktop wallpaper!

I also noticed just how dirty my camera is, i've never seen so many dust spots!

I'm still properly proud of what we acheived though, some of the best photo's i've ever taken.

Were there 2 studios being used?

One seems like it's on a massive gradient, I wouldn't fancy having to setup light stands etc on that kind of slant!

Doh, you should have said. Around the corner of the studio was a multistory car park as part of the complex. I meant to go in there afterwards but forgot. I was pleased to get the car in as I thought we'd not have time, but I was keen to light black cars as they are so difficult.

I can't believe the shots we've got straight from camera, with just a little work they are brilliant.

However, I agree about bits, i.e. on my angle on the focus I can see the polyboard finish, some of the lights reflected...

A great learning curve though. I've got so many ideas now.

Where is the post for the other dates? I can't seem to find it! (Maybe as I left my glasses at home today!)

It would be good if the first post in the thread was updated to show this...
