Am absolutely gutted. Last weekend I was at my parents and my sis's bf said that the swallows in one of the stables were just fledging (when he'd put the horse out a few hours previous), so off we trundle but alas they had fully flown and were chasing around so no jor - better luck next year. Took this one though which I thought was a bit of fun - struggling to make a really moody B&W conversion though to make it more spooky!

Very nice Paul, same place I took these, unfortunately we got to the site about 15 minutes after the feeding started so missed most of the display. We're just in the process of buying a house about an hour from there though so I'm looking forward to getting up there again next year!

A few from a visit I made to the Farne Islands.

The smell was something else..

I've reworked this one, extending the canvas at the top and cloning in the background to give the birds more room as they were too close to the top in the orginal shot.

A few from me...

Taken through the kitchen window on a wet day:

Taken at the Red Kite centre in Rhayader, Wales:

Lilac Breasted Roller from a recent holiday in Africa. I stalked it for about 10 minutes and fortunately it stayed on the branch! (sorry about the over large watermark)
