Great pictures of the Whitethroat and the Goldfinches (on this page and the previous one).

Cheers, it seemed very happy just to stay perched there and have it's picture taken.

Here's a couple more from the garden today:

C&C welcomed on these. I'm not that keen on the backgrounds but I guess there's not that much I can do about it. Would have been nice if the Kingfisher with the fish had have faced me a bit more, perhaps with the other side of the fish showing but there's not much I could have done about that either. Had an enjoyable morning/early afternoon at Rye Meads in Herts.

Been a long time since I even looked at this thread let alone posted, loads of lovely photos have been shared as always (those kingfisher shots up there ^ are amazing!)

Anyway, a few I got up in the Cairngorms recently. What an amazing place it is, we will be going back as soon as we can fit it in I think:

Not long back from a trip to the Farne Islands to photograph the Puffins, earlier than expected as the islands were closed today due to bad weather.

Not ideal conditions as the sky was mostly grey, but here's a couple anyway!

Dave, thank you, the weather was really against us, so any recognition is appreciated!

Getcarter, a bird pic? feeling alright?

Anyway, here are some more Puffins!
