Thanks smile

Yes - all on the F5.6 400L (except the Kestrel which was shot on my 16-300 Tamron walkabout lens which is surprisingly decent!). The 400L is great though and a fraction of the cost (and weight!) of one of the big boys - ie 500L, 600L etc.

All much to be admired Mr. Dobbler but I am especially taken with this one.

How did you get it so still?

Superglue?

Borrowed from a Victorian collection of stuffed creatures?

Threatened it with exile to a country at the far end of the Med?

Thankyou smile I was chuffed with that one I must admit - possibly my favorite bird shot yet. I was amazed it hung around as I blundered about - must have been semi tame I think.

European I think (although I'm no kind of an expert!)

Ah, that explains the expression.

A sort of "WTF is that idiot doing I can't sit here forever" sort of look - now you mention it.

wink

Only kidding of course.
