The birds they mock me
Discussion
Thanks DD for setting it right for me but could you put that into real 'thicko' language please!
I've loaded the photo to Flickr. hit share button and copied the url. Then in PH posted the url in between [ pic ]<>[ /pic ] (without the spaces) but it's obviously wrong somewhere.
Edit to add got it now.....couldn't find BBcode as I all I was getting was 'share' or 'email' options

Ta - no problem for the RX10 M3 I'm especially impressed that it retained the level of detail given that it's a live beast and you are well into telephoto lens lengths but you are only using 1/200th sec. (unless I misread the EXIF info).
Obviously the camera is in very capable hands here but it does seem to be very versatile.

I generally don't bother with bird photography, but I had an hour to spare earlier on today and my eldest son offered to coach me on some alternative shooting methods, so we trundled a couple of miles up the road to a local beauty spot
I was working in manual mode with auto-ISO, when a Robin appeared, posed for a couple of shots, then left. No time to play with settings, so this is at 1/1000 and ISO 10,000 - hardly ideal, bit noisy
Thought it was worth showing though....

It's about time we had some new content in here, these are not from the UK but a holiday to Florida in August. These Sandhill Cranes were regular visitors to the community we were staying in and were more than happy to pose for the camera, sometimes getting a little too close for comfort (some of these are shot at less than 3 meters!).
