Hi all,

After winning the April challenge (thank you forty-two), i'm starting the thread about the next challenge.

The theme I have decided on is Decay

•The shot MUST be taken this month, with the closing date being the 31st May
•The exif must be posted with your shot
•Keep the images posted to a decent size please, 1024px wide max
•I'll choose the winner this month (with the winner choosing the theme for next month, then deciding who should win that months)
•The Challenge for next month should be generic, as not everyone has access to zoom, macro, specialist lenses. It should be shots that everyone is capable of achieving with the bare essentials

Happy shooting, and I look forward to seeing your shots!

Karen.

PS, can someone sticky this thread please?

PPS, I am not saying this as I won this months challenge but as there is a Monthly Photography Competition wiki do you think a Monthly Photography challenge wiki could be set up for the winners?

The challenge has to be photos taken during this month, rather than selected from any portfolio.

Challenge is a picture you go out and take that month.
Competition is a picture taken any time.

Rust counts.
Not sure about the xray depends on if you took the xray or not.

Just to be pedantic/arsey are there rules for this or not? (and I note that other entries omit the exif completely)

Can't see any decay on the tooth that's causing you pain but the one to the right of it on the picture (lower left 7) has a lot of DECAY in it. Nice to see it's been taken on may 2nd too.

I don't think you need to prove it, just it was noticed. If you say it is I am sure that is good enough. Its only a bit of fun at the end of the day.
