I was up on Islay for the Whisky and Music festival this past week so have shot a couple of the distilleries.

I'll start with my favourite.

Not bad considering how much blowing a hooley it was.

A couple more from Islay

Lagavulin distillery. (Only one small piece on this I'm not happy about - but given the wind at the time I like it).

Laphroaig distillery.

I might get some of these printed onto canvas - anyone know any good non-standard size canvas makers ?

Good question - it's for a whisky loving friend of mine - say 1m wide.

Cathedral View - 180 degree panorama by ray_blake, on Flickr

This is a unique view of Lincoln taken from the SouthWest Turret of the Cathedral. We were given a guided tour as part of the Minster's fundraising efforts - 1 day only - 4 tours - 10 people + 2 of the young masons as guides. The tour lasted an hour and the guides showed us the restoration work and allowed us to roam around the top two levels at will, absolutely brilliant it was such a rare privilege. Many thanks to the Fabric team and the Fundraising team.
