Wheels look a huge amount better than before. As said by others the rest of the surface marring should be able to be polished out. I would be looking at a specialist polisher rather that a tub of autosol, a microfiber and a few blisters.

the polisher has a really good reputation but he isn't exactly local!

Hmmm. I'm sorry to hear that Pete. I would say that Lepsons also said with mine that the quality of the wheels is not great / that they do not age well. So there usual standard of finish is often not achievable. I don't think anywhere else could do better, if that's any consolation....

Wouldn't polishing remove the diamond cut effect, leaving a highly polished look?

A bit "bling", a bit "custom car" a bit too shiny??????

Guys - as I say. Maybe my expectations were just too high - after all, many of you have set a really high benchmark! I gave them a bit of polish and they do look a bit better - just not perfect, but then I guess i'm not necessarily looking for perfection on the car as it will be used not locked away. The car will take a lot to reach perfection and in areas i'm just not capable of doing myself, so I guess as Joe's maxim goes - its keeping the balance.....
