I don't think so!
I picked these up today.

Can you tell what it is yet?

Indeed. Or as close as you are ever gonna get atleast.
Bush is approx 2.5mm shorter than my originals but still long enough to protrude from both ends of the arm boss and for the brackets to tighten upto ( have tested it ). Internal and external dimensions are perfect.
The correct size bolt which is apparently impossible to get? Here it is next to an original.

So the real quiz.
Can you guess what they are and the price?
By the way, these are readily available to everyone who wants them.

Just to add, when I say readily available, I do not mean I am going to try and flog them. I have no wish to make money from you guys and will reveal the information very soon.

P.S. They can be purchased in poly form too at a reasonable price.

The new bolt has a slightly shorter plain shaft - does it end up beyond the mounting lug on the chassis?

No but neither do my original ones. The original bushes I have measure approx 72.5mm length. The shank of the original bolt is 73mm. Once you have a washer of approx 2.5/3mm and 3mm material thickness of the bracket there is no way the shank could be into the far bracket.

You can also get poly bushes for the rear trailing arms from Steve heath along with the required bolts. He might even do a pack to poly bush the whole car wink

OK, my guess. £18 and they're from a 1975 JCB .... a yellow one! Go on, tell us all?

No. Not anymore. I found a source that had 200 of them sitting on a shelf gathering dust. I bought them and had them bright zinc plated to match the other bolt finishes.

Update.
I have test fitted the bush in the arm today and it does fit but I am not fully convinced it is tight enough. To clarify, the old bush took some real abuse to remove (obviously time and corrosion play a part). The new trial bush, whilst being very snug, only needed tapping into place, it did not require pressing with a great force. Now this bush is a pattern part (and we all know what they can be like) so I think the next step here is to get an original and test fit that to see if it is any tighter. I will do this when I have chance and update accordingly.

In the interest of sharing and as a few have played the guessing game (Thanks thumbup).
The source of these parts......... Land Rover
Specifically Series 1 2 3
The bush is a leaf spring eye bush, part number 548205.
The bolt is a suspension shackle pin, I have been unable to nail down the exact part number but when I asked my local LR indy he just reached into a box and pulled one out so not really a problem. CAUTION, apparently early models had the 9/16" bolt but with a 1/2" thread, later ones are just 9/16".

Cost for bush, nut and bolt (bearing in mind pattern part) £2.50
I believe the original bush, which is available (my guy didn't have any) is only a couple of pounds more. This means that all for bushes and fixings could be purchased for less than £20.

Whilst I understand the advantages of poly bushes and not trying to detract from that in any way, for those on a budget or who feel they don't need or want poly this could be a very cost effective option.
Here's hoping.
Cheers,
Carl.

The OE bush requires a press for fitting, BUT, it is such a long time since I have seen the bush as a one piece unit...it is common for these to be two pieces (the two pieces from the factory were hand sawn, I have to presume that a single bush was sourced and sawn down to mimic 'one half' of the one piece).

Hello chaps,
I did mean to update this thread ages ago but forgot. I better do it now as Mike has recently linked it for somebody.

In the end I did not use the 548205 bush because it is a little short (approx 3mm).
Instead I used the 569746 bush which has the same internal and external dimensions but is too long.
I shortened it by cutting off most of the excess with a saw and then facing in the lathe.
If you don't have access to a lathe you could always just cut a slice out of the middle.
I believe TVR may have done this, hence many cars having two piece bushes.

Cheers,
Carl.
