Just back from holiday and missed out on a ticket, why does the ticket sales end more than a week before the event? Any possibility of squeezing another S2 in?

The normal price for the event is about £7 per person. TVR CC managed to negotiate a large discount to £3.50 per car, but there was a deadline attached so the end date was not club related

I'm sure there will be plenty of room for another S , it will only cost you an extra £3.50 and it will be great to see another well restored S at the event . Dale

Give the club office a call tomorrow. They may be able to send you one out. Otherwise you can still go. It's just £7 per person on the gate.

Hope you make it It is a good event, several of us attend regularly and we have always had to pay the full price, so we've been lucky with the club discount this year. Weather will be perfect, it always shines on SCH. Erm, the weather in 09 was an exception there may have been other exceptions too, but mainly for camping on previous nights

Having just driven the S through tonight's torrential downpour I don't think a little rain will be putting us off. It can't be that bad!
If it had got any worse I'd have had to put the roof up (I am joking!)

Hi Dave, thanks, received your message. I'll stump up my £7 and come on down unless I see Noah and his family coming back from the timber yard! See you there. My problem and I assume a lot od "S's" is that my wipers move at snails pace and I also need a set on the inside too! OK, I'll pack a sponge and a bailing buckit and come on down. See you there. I must be lucky as although the wipers aren't super fast most of the water does stay on the outside - except when I had to lower the window to get out of the car park and all the water off the roof ran in - yuck!

If it had got any worse I'd have had to put the roof up (I am joking!) If there is enough interest on here, I was thinking of a bulk purchase of those little fish that nibble your toes. We could share them out & keep them in our footwells. How about it? I might not attend if it's too sunny! Not used to it.

Thoresby Park, Nr. Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, NG22 9WH
Make sure you follow the signs for the Car and Bike show and NOT the Market, it'S all on the same road but the show is at the back of Thoresby Hall.
Watch out for the bad dips in the road, it can throw a TVR off track if going quickly.
