Hi Knowler,
I'd certainly be interested in a gear knob at this sort of price. And I would definitely be tempted by lots of the other shiny bits too, funds permitting depending on what your man can make! Can't think of anything extra to what whats been listed above already. Anything on the dash, especially the ugly plastic heater panel and any of the switch gear.
Great work on looking into this! Lots of these things seem readily available for the more modern cars, just not the S!

Hi Lewdon, Firstly I'd like to apologise if distracted anyone from this thread, thought what i'd done would may be of interest/help and cost free apart from some wire wool and masking tape. I simply masked off the leather to protect it from possible scratches or dust and rubbed the dial paint off carefully with some wire wool, took the black paint off very easily yet the wool doesn't scratch the glass. Took about 2hrs to do all dials including speedo and rev counter and I really didn't want to go for the stick on bezels and/or high 'bling' effect which I personally think would look like I've just had a spending spree in Halfrauds. They may need some lacuer put on them however still as good now as when I did them 2ths ago.

EbayOr "proper" TVR onecould be cheaper if you're quick (sorry if I've spoilt anyones "bargain") Mike, you're the ebay wizard - my "genuine" TVR handbrake cover arrived this morning. £2 cheaper than winning the auction "bargain". Thanks, Gary p.s. can also confirm it fits very nicely

Hi, Only just seen this thread. I would like the gear knob with flat top as seen on Griff. What is the current situation with other parts and costs? If available id like the following: 1, Gear knob 2, Air vents inserts 3, Gauge bezels 4, Speedo and rev bezels 4, Indicator stalks What about electric window switches in ali and surrounds?? When do you want payment and how long until delivery? Many Thanks, Gareth.

Wish you'd asked a couple of weeks ago! I bought a generic S/S knob which is great, but uses a grub screw to attach it. I would have been all over this... not going to commit just yet, but certainly count me as interested... what are you planning for the handbrake cover? Will it be "ribbed for her pleasure" like the previous example or something simpler?

Cleaner that the ribbed one IMHO & easy to fit.

Right then Chaps,
Last shout for interest..
FYI - Handbrake not under consideration as they can be grabbed on ebay for ~£20.. this excercise is aimed at all parts we cant get... anything will be considered volume permitting..but the first batch will be Gear Knobs (Chinaera/Griffith style) but for the S and dashboard buttons...

I'm still in for a gear knob. We could do with a final list of names so people know they have been counted. Rob

Yep.. just got round to it... so far we have the following... at this volume it will be the higher price i quoted.. lets see if we can rally round anymore and bump it up a little... i reckon if we can reach 30 i can hold him to the lower price... ;-)
I'm also assuming you all would like the buttons for the dash as well???

Knowler said: I'm also assuming you all would like the buttons for the dash as well??? I think it very much depends on which model S we own - dashes/buttons differ so much, so yes i'm interested but not fully committed to buttons yet.
