Another giant leap forwardn (and a little back too)

The 24v Cossy S1

Last night with the engine bay almost wired up, temporary battry connected, most of the original alarm system disconnected and a dribble of fuel in the tank, the engine was turned over and it fired up. With no exhaust after the manifolds and no water system we shut it down after 5 or 6 seconds. Some sensors are not wired up - Lambda for example the engine ran very rich. Also as the alarm is only partially removed we have a couple of other issues (starter button worked and now doesn't) but Hay Ho.........big smiles all round.

Excellent news not too far now. My 24v is looking pretty poor on internal inspection frown so may need to:

A) forget this silly idea.
B) buy a new 24v
C) repair my existing 24v
D) do something different

Hmm D S3

I was very surprised how quiet it was considering the exhaust pipe ends at the starter motor at the mo.

the bonnet will need to be modified as it sits 1" high at the back as it is touching the engine plenum.

we are going to buff / polish the
body and see how it comes up........not looking at perfection!!! if its ok then I'll look at a carbon wrap of the front (which is a completely different colour) and carbon bits to blend in on the defects.

Also the front splitter and lamp pod

yes....it will be positioned a little further front and down. The pod to bonnet joint needs to be re-fabricated. Final position will be sorted when the bonnet is on the car,the lights are on and I'm in the driving seat.

Hi Mick.
Now that's some lighting, like the front splitter, should be a rocket when it's on the road.

Hi Mick.
If you go too fast nobody can see all the hard work you have put into it.
Just a few bits to finish off on mine then its dpwn to paint and leather.

It'll go like the clappers till you turn those lights on lol.
I'm sure you realise but they are going to take some serious current (100W = over 8 amps).
Make sure your circuits are man enough.
