I know the rear trailing arms are excellent, but the fronts not as much.

I'd be sending everything you can to be powdercoated at the same time including all the little bits. The photo above shows everything that I got back along with the chassis, and I forgot a couple of things! Makes everything look nice and neat when it all goes back together even if they weren't to bad before.

G, thanks for the advice and the "hooker red" shots! In due time we will see!! Also, the bolts...I always figured stainless would work, so need to research for some others. Will have to make sure the bolts put in can handle the stress! That is the last place I would want to fail. I too was looking at the wiki list and starting to plan the way to do it!

I have been told some of the imperial suspension bolts are now quite difficult to source, apparently apex fasteners in slough can still source them. I got mine from Steve heath when he was still doing full kits with poly bushes.

Good luck. The forward planning and getting everything you will need in advance makes life so much easier when doing the work.

Get the pulleys off the engine and get them powder coated black - they look smart.

Anything sensitive to heat (coil for instance) get a can of spray black gloss.
