Nice photos Adrian. The colours of the TVRs certainly brightened up a very dull day!
As has already been said it was great to see so many familiar faces and meet some new ones.
In view of the conditions a total of 93 TVRs is astonishing, especially as there were so few other makes/models there!
At least it was dry for us to get our tents up and walk to/stumble from the pub on Sunday evening

Great to meet everyone. I really enjoyed it - despite the weather. I thought it showed what "hard core" owners we all are. Or should that be mutters?
I found out something new about my car - even with roof panels that don't match - no leaking from them. Very good.
Interestingly though - my S has a shower fitted just above my right foot. It was soaked when I got home. Turbo Tony suggested that is quite a common accessory !!

I understand its a lot of work to organize a specific S-event, but I still remember my first SCH in 2011 which was great , even being there without a running S ;-( The camping from Friday, the hoon on Saturday and the showday on Sunday. With the Clarence Bodigger award !Dale

In hindsight I suspect the organisers did not expect such a good turn out given the weather forecast?
Had they known so many would still brave it I reckon we could have had a front row of S's, chimaeras behind then the T cars in a third row with all other models bringing up the rear.
Certainly something is "lost" by not being our own little one marque show but you have to weigh that against the advantages (?) of having a selection of catering facilities, other cars to look at, a few trade stands to rummage around etc?
It's a brave man who takes it on an announces SCH 2015 will be at this venue...... on this date......

Its not the sort of place i would leave my car unattended even for 5 minutes !
Appreciate that i am not coming up with a positive alternative but Billing is Billing !

Agreed. I thought Blenheim was an excellent location with good facilities (apart from camping facilities). If it hadn't been for the weather more of us (wimps) would have gone on the Monday and it might have seemed more like S-Club; but there's nothing that can be done about the weather. Bolting S-Club onto a big event like this is a good idea because it's unfair to expect a lone S owner to take on the burden and responsibility of arranging a venue etc. Maybe next year the organisers could be asked to give us "S-Clubbers" out own little area adjacent to the main TVR gathering?v8s4me said:

I'm feeling like one of "them" who cheated the S clan somehow. I had Julie with me, and know just how much grief I'd have got for walking or sitting around in that torrential rain. She loves going out in the "S" but is less fond of polishing and ogling motors - she did say how much she'd have liked to have met up with everyone again. I suppose part of the point for me as Joe said - Having a venue where there are things to do for all. A good blast out on clear open roads to me is one of the absolute high points, so its also about the right surrounding area (so that rules out the majority of Southern England within 70 miles of London. Then there's the ever present "cost" aspect and the fact that your never going to please everyone (Jeez Longers - the more I think about it - the more respect due for Euro-Tours). I've always liked the idea of some of those empty scenic good conditions roads in Wales....
