To be fair Paul, have you looked at the map & seen how far Maffe travels from Umea in Northern Sweden to join our paltry little jaunts ?
Respect for the man, even if he can't be bothered this time wink
bow
Even Barry won't drive that far for breakfast.Perhaps we could all call on Maffe one Saturday or Sunday morning? driving

NOT LONG NOW!!!! biggrin

I've been doing some planning tonight. Is there anyone out of reach of home that is crossing on the on Tuesday evening? Anyone planning to stay overnight anywhere, or is everyone blasting home?

I'm thinking my ears will already be bleeding by then and save the long motorway slog back to Lancashire in the MG (about 6 hours with a stop) I might find somewhere cheapish to ditch and rest overnight. Let me know if you're interested and I'll have a think about where might be best

Thanks Barry, but already booked the chunnel for the Tues night - wanted to get it booked and had to air on the safe side as I wasn't sure if I was going to have to work on the Wednesday (always a big push but do-able) but doesn't look like I need to now!!

I wasn't but may well be interested too. What's your planned route back? I'm normally A1 but could do M1.

Do we know where we are going yet, or have I missed something?

My co-driver, rev-limiter, beloved, Mrs Lynch, keeps asking for routes and hotel names, etc.?
