Looking VERY nice Damian!

I think an S Series with an S-Type engine should be just perfect for those Esses on the Eurotour. driving

Not long now, can't wait to see your finished project. thumbup

Well after a very long and disappointing couple of months the new engine loom has arrived smile

Ecu now fitted and loom install underway.. Battery on charge so we hope to fire her up tomorrow perhaps?

Will let you know how it goes but it's now feeling real again I may have her back in next couple of weeks..

These things take 4 times longer than you expect and cost twice as much..

Should be a good result in the end..

Damian S3 oh insurance is sorted too

Well quick update the loom etc fitted and mapping has commenced we needed a new tps as the mapper described the mondeo one as an on off switch so anyhoo replacement fitted and onto the rollers...

Can't foresee any more significant delays lols

Interesting project and a good result.

For info the Ford and Jag engines are actually quite different. The Ford uses hydraulic lifters whilst the Jag has DAMBs. In fact, the S-type engine is slightly different from the X-type one due to packaging constraints (rear end accessory drive for the water pump for example).

Anyway, the point was that parts aren't always transferable. I know someone who bought a Jag sump for his ST220 and found it didn't fit...

Hello folks a brief update.

Picked car up late last week from mapper, but not had expired while away so couldn't use until today.

Dropped off for MOT and she came back with a clean ticket.

Put a few miles on but it was too busy / wet to enjoy properly. Plus I want to aquatint myself with the car again properly.

Anyhoo using for work tomorrow then a few little jobs to over Christmasz

The jenvey 70mm tb works really well and the car made 218bhp at the wheels on final map so should go some.

Wil post the new graph and some pics tomorrow.

Cheers
