RAF Cosford

If enough interest we could sign up as "S Club" and get a club pitch (rather than being spread out here, there and everywhere)
Does clash with Shelsley but change is as good as a rest as they say wink

May well be up for that as an ex S club member and would happily park with non S motors. Be good to catch up with the S boys though!

I am currently based at RAF cosford, so if any help is needed with this I will be able to pop along at no hassle, however I am missing a 'S' I can offer a chim or an M?!

Five, maybe six cars already.... I'll contact the organizer and see about getting us a club space.

How about TVRDC rather than S Club ? smile

Don't think we'll need any help Scott but please come and join us (preferably in the proper TVR not the golf buggy) wink

What's wrong with S Club?
Ah, so you want to bring your Tame R now do you Mike? wink

Never mind Cosford, your front drive is starting to look like a TVR meet hehe

Edit; Just wondering what the 'D' could stand for?

Demented perhaps?
Or Dreadnought?
Dastardly?
Delighted?
Drinking?
Dogging?

If it's Do-nuts, I don't think they'll let us attend nono

Edited to correct the stupid autocorrect. irked

Was thinking more of our good friend (albeit a deserter) Stew and Mr Dakota, and there's just a rumour another of our "Midland gang" may have left the S fold by then !

Have been in touch with organiser, provisional 10 spaces will be allocated for us.

He has asked if we could arrive together and early....before 9am. Some may want to "convoy" from Redditch but for others coming from wherever there is a pub with a big car park 5 minutes up the road from Cosford. More details nearer the time.

President and currently sole member of the TVRDC

did I mention the membership fees? biggrin

Well the Chim is currently being prepared for sale with a chassis refurb, I hope to get it to Burghley and throw in a cheeky for sale poster/info, but have a feeling I wont be able to show it in the best light as I wont have time to prepare it properly! The money is going towards the restoration/modification of the M that has gone so far backwards its nearly a D! (also may sneak in the purchase of a Triumph GT6, (itch to scratch) or towards Tuscan)

So I may find myself at this event with the Chim and that for sale poster, you never know who will be there with a keen wallet!

Id be quite happy to park separately from the S's to give you guys the allotted amount of spaces and the feature of the S club, save a naughty intruder stealing a spot! lick

Scott.

Bumped to save faffing about with a new list.

President Phillpot or Scott: Do you know the name and/ or postcode of the pub with the big car park 5 mins from Cosford? I'll meet you there.

O/T: Stew, I found those photos 5 mins after you left me at Burghley, they were in my Road Atlas. I'll try to remember to being 'em to Cosford.
