The sun was out today in the Pennines for a change.
I was unable to resist taking Austin for a little run along some of my favourite twiddly bits ........

It was so windy here I could hardly standup. nono No, I hadn't touched a drop! ..........

Makes me wish I was still working. Ha ha! wink

Anybody else been enjoying this rare weather window?

smile I am.
But lucky Barry has been basking in lovely incessant sunshine with temps up to 20 degrees down sarf these last few days, while here oop norf it's been cold & windy & very grey & drizzly.
I've been bursting to go topless all that time.

They forecast torrential rain tomorrow frown

Luckily I didn't waste all my money on turning petrol into noise today.
I've saved a bit for beer tomorrow.

Dragged her out today as the forecast was for sunny in the afternoon- unsurprisingly it wasn't. Still, managed to get the engine warmed through nicely! Shame I had wasted an hour compliments of the NHS who refused to do an endoscopy on the feeble grounds that my blood pressure was too high: what do they expect from an S driver? You do wonder why people say NHS has gone to the dogs

Ahh, there's nothing like a good old endoscopy to get the blood pumping eh Jeremy? wink

I prefer a gastroscopy myself, but I prefer to go first.
Before they start on the endoscopies that is.
I'm fastidious about that kind of thing.

In my office I have a huge patio window through which I have watched the blue sky and sunshine all day, until ...... just 10 minutes ago black clouds rolled in over the hillside, its now pouring with rain,....... just in time for the journey home ... Bugga , .. as said before on here, the only bright point is now there is a really strong double rainbow, and it ends this side of the woods, in a field of Llamas, just a hundred yards or so away, I could just run out and catch it Pot of gold and all that !

While making the most of the sunshine Glen, I found myself in Poole Harbour, Cemex dredger and cement works.
Thought you may like the photos.

As we didn't have much sunshine this evening, finally got round to tappets and rocker cover gaskets. Apart from one dodgy moment where one of the funny washers disappeared and hid on the chassis rail, seemed to go ok.
