Horn push

It has always niggled me that the horn push on our cars does not operate the horn.

Does anyone know whether retro-fitment of this would work / fit with a bit of wiring?

Quite happy to have mine on the "stalk"..... should a genuine need arise would rather have both hands on the wheel!
