Handbrake dash light S3
Discussion
Could also be at the master cylinder reservoir end as the level sensor here also activates that light. Firstly check the level isn't on the hairy edge of being too low as this would flash the light on and off when driving then check the cabling as it has a tendency to corrode where the cables connect to the cap

Ignore the dirt it ain't there now

I agree with the above, just disconnect the brake fluid cable first, and if that doesnt cure it you can presume the handbrake switch. As Phillpot says it is pretty easy to get to, and not TVR's finest hour! If you get the handbrake switch working right it might then be worth checking the fluid level switch works by just taking it out of the cylinder and seeing if a light comes on! Even better if the right light comes on!!
(It didnt at first on mine)
On the S1 there is a slight complication in that there are two warning lights, both red (on mine) which may or may not be connected the right way round. Furthermore they are cross connected in a way that means they probably both come on together whichever circuit is at fault! This is to be corrected in the next phase of work!

Forgot to add above you can check the level sensor wiring by pressing in the middle of the yellow bit in the reservoir cap with the handbrake off. The light on the dash should illuminate when the cap is depressed. This checks the wiring but not the float as it simulates a low level by shorting out the float.
