Good idea, that. I'm going to keep the L-shape lever but buy a new quickshift lever and weld the L-shape bit on to try and achieve the same kind of thing. It'll still shift through the wrong sort of arc, but just not as badly. Yours is the perfect solution to be fair.

The bottom picture has an adjustable under the gearbox, that's definitely not in the top one.
