I still get lost.

If I remember correctly two youngsters on the first euro trip had three sat navs in one car and still couldn"t find the hotel in Calais after getting off the boat smile

More importantly did it come with itinerary planning to take those tyre files?

Are you sure...? Liam still gets lost. Having a satnav and listening to what it says are 2 different things wink

Ah, Tom & Josh, what a pair. To be fair they did find the Ibis in Calais. And then another Ibis in Calais. Luckily the 3rd Ibis in Calais they went to was the one everyone else was at! And that was after we all got off the boat together and everyone else was able to follow the line of TVRs through deserted Calais at 11pm rofl

Good buy Barry. Most important is that you "pass" the waypoints otherwise it will keep sending you back to that point. In such cases you can mark the waypoint as "visited" . For the rest nothing can go wrong :-))

I'm looking to following you, Joe and Glen on tour. That will be a nice change. Have you planned the first coffee stop just outside Calais to decide the definitive route?

That's a lovely way of putting it.
It worked well for me.
As I was driving over the ( cobbled ) Petit St. Gotthard Pass, I realised it wasn't the "correct" route, but I was happy in the knowledge that I wasn't lost, plus I got to drive an extra alpine pass as a bonus - twice driving
I felt especially priveleged to be in such a beautiful place, alone, on such a glorious day. cloud9
Without the awful racket of all those Tivs echoing all over the mountains. earswink
It was worth the shortened coffee ( toilet ) stop when I rejoined the main group.

Even though when I was attending to my ablutions, I could hear them all driving off. Bacensoredds ! wink
Were they trying to tell me something? biggrin

By the way, thanks to whoever thoughtfully placed my satnav out of sight of undesirable eyes when Austin was left all alone in the car park for those few minutes.
