HAHAHA - loving the video. I went off there as well!

Did anyone get any videos from the pit wall of the TVRs going past?

I thoroughly enjoyed myself... despite not having beastie ready for some track activity... Big thanks to Martin and Matthew, despite not being a great passenger, the Cerb was awesome, and my first ever ride in a Griff was bloody brilliant smile There. I've said it wink

Extra thanks to Matthew for taking my 22 year old grand daughter round in the Griff, she was still grinning about it yesterday evening smile

Super day, old faces and new faces, and the S lads who as it turns out are only a ten or fifteen minute drive from where I live... looking forward to meeting up with them soon...

Oh, and Andy, hope you got home without mishap smile

Chilli smile

To go off properly at the Esses you have to go off to the outside of the track with the rook off, and collect a car full of sand and gravel. I know....I was that soldier who disappeared in a cloud of dust in front of several other TVRs.

Not had a track day spin since I got my Federal 595s....famous last worms.

LOL the chimp boys will asking questions about your loyalty with statements like that! although you may be safe buried away in the S forum.

In all serious though Richard, you are more than welcome it is always a pleasure. I am glad your grand daughter enjoyed the Griff, both your daughter and grand daughter are very pleasant young ladies and a credit to you.

Hopefully next time I see you beasty will be out on track and I will have some better tyres so I can actually go round corners!

Great to catchup with everyone and see a few new cars (would have loved to have seen the purple Chim on track) - have uploaded a video of my first run out, was taking it *relatively* easy on first run but some good footage (if a bit long!) - I will edit down all my runs to the more fun moments smile

Click to watch the Video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tGvx4MVjeI

I also had finally got the Race Technology DASH 2 PRO working - so had lots of log data to play with when I got home.

First one is Lateral G (i.e. G pulled going round corners) RED = strong right hand, BLUE = strong left hand. (click to get larger image) - p.s. Max speed is incorrect as my trigger wheel has too many teeth and it stops recording past about 120mph. (I think I was hitting 135-140 on main straight)

Second one is colour coded to colour to speed. RED = Fast.

And lastly my throttle position, so you can see where I have put my foot down.

p.p.s. My best lap-time (which if your a MSV organiser I only had access to once I got home!!) was 2 min 23 seconds, not sure if thats good or bad?

Nick, sorry mate but that really tickled me, your lap time is the same as an MX5... wink

Something tells me QBee will be highly amused by that... and I'm guessing a 5.5 Chim will be slower still whistle

Chilli wink

Thanks Matthew, I'm very proud of my girls, my grand daughter has recently graduated from Uni, something I failed at rather spectacularly (became OCD about cars, beer, and women, about two years earlier than I should have).

TBH, I really fancy a Griff (in addition to beastie not instead of wink ).... but for a few years now I've fancied a 4.5 Cerb.. and, have to say, going round Snetts in Martin's 4.7 has kind of sealed it.... aside from the awesome performance, that interior and whole 'place to be' was everything I thought a Cerb might be.... a whole different experience to a Chim, although still totally TVR.... maybe more so... I now need one desperately smile Have to say I fell in love with the damn thing biggrin
